Happy Fourth of July!
Today, we have a special edition for our Top 5 events. Instead of talking about the best events for the week, we will be covering the best things to do in Tally for July 4th! We wanted to make sure there are great options so you have the freedom to choose your favorite things to do on this glorious holiday. As you can see on our homepage, these aren’t the only 5 events happening in Tally between July 3rd – July 4th. So feel free to browse through those dates as well! After doing a lot of research to celebrate our independence, below are our Top 5 events for the Fourth of July. We hope you have a great time!
Taking place at Southwood Art of Living (Park) from 10:30 am – 10:30 pm, this is definitely something you should look into. The parade starts at 10:30 am followed by a special anniversary celebration of our holiday. There will be food trucks, games, crafts, a pie eating contest, a dunk tank, & Tobacco Rd Band will be performing! This will go on throughout the day until the big firework show starts at 7:00 pm. This is Tom Brown Park’s annual July 4th celebration event. Starting at 6:00 pm, there will be food vendors, a beer garden, arts & crafts vendors, live music, and like the previous event, a huge firework show towards the end. We actually went to this last year and it was a total blast! For more info on the schedule and best places to park, click HERE for the event page.

THIS EVENT IS ON JULY 3RD! Pots is hosting yet another July 3rd EDM concert this year, this time featuring the DJ & Producer, Justin Caruso. He will have some openers including Bonkers, Evalution, Xander, Sulex, Techyes and Loudfi as well. Tickets are between $10 – $20 depending on when you buy them. Early Bird is $10, general is $15, & last minute is $20. For more info on the event and where to get tickets, click HERE for the event page.
In our opinion, this is the perfect way to start your holiday! It’s the 37th Annual July 4th race at Cascades Park and begins at 6:30 am. It’s a win-win by the way. First, you’re running for our freedom with your family/friends and second, you burn a ton of calories before you start drinking! For more info, click HERE for the event page.
With a special no cover until midnight, Recess is also hosting a concert to celebrate this holiday. DJ Crespo will be bumping on stage while you enjoy $2 wells drinks, $2 shots, $5 Y-Bombs, & $10 Bacardi Buckets. Prebanding starts at 8:00 pm. By the way, Capital City Pedicabs will be taking people to and from Recess throughout this event. For more info, click HERE for the event page.
Go out and enjoy this special holiday with the coolest people you know. Only happens once a year so don’t miss out! If you know about any 4th of July events happening that we may have missed, please submit them to us HERE and we’ll post ASAP.
