October 1st has finally arrived and you know what that means… Halloween is creepin’ up! We’ve already seen so many events pop up from businesses who are already starting to celebrate. This Friday October 4th, the Moore Auditorium is hosting two sketch comedy groups: 30in60 & No Bears Allowed. Both are extremely funny and will have their best Halloween jokes ready to go for you. The point of 30in60 is they try to get through as many skits as possible in a specific period of time. No Bears Allowed is simply a fantastic improv comedy group. From 2:00 pm – 2:00 am on October 5th, The Brass Tap in Midtown will be holding their 6th Annual Oktoberfest! If you’re not sure what an Oktoberfest is, it’s a festival that started Germany for the sole purpose of drinking beer. People love to get together and drink a lot of beer, so Americans started to celebrate it as well. At this particular festival, there will be incredible games, raffles, live music, food, prizes, and of course, beer. You won’t want this to end once you get started! Lucky for you, seeing Cuco’s concert tonight is FREE for FSU students! He is an incredible Indie Pop singer/producer/songwriter who has amassed hundreds of MILLIONs of streams on Spotify alone. Township’s yearly pretzel contest is tonight! How fast can you chow some big pretzels down? Fastest time wins a $50 gift card, so come with an empty stomach and a desire to eat!
